The Astra is an evolution of the Rockwell Jet Commander, for which IAI had obtained the production license in 1968, and the IAI Westwind. Astra later evolved into the Galaxy executive jet (later the Gulfstream G200) during the 1990s.

The truth is that Zontes is going to take one more step in Argentina apart from the 310 family, and its next steps are the launching of a naked and a 150 cc scrambler, with the arrival of the G and U versions, of which, we estimate, some units have entered for homologation processes and also production tuning.
