Royal Decree 209/2002 establishes the basic rules regulating the application of sanitary and zootechnical management measures for beekeeping farms, as well as the conditions of location, settlement and movement of beehives, zootechnical and sanitary infrastructure and equipment, which allow an efficient and correct development of the beekeeping activity throughout the national territory. Decree 48/2006, of May 5, 2006, establishes the rules for the management of beekeeping farms in the Balearic Islands.

National honey traceability system

Resolution No. 473 of July 12, 1995 of the register of the former National Animal Health Service, established that all bovine, ovine, porcine, caprine and equine animals transiting through any part of the country must be covered by the Official Certificate called Sanitary Permit for the Transit of Animals, in order to safeguard the sanitary status of the animals in transit.

Although it was considered that the Sanitary Permit for the Transit of Animals created by Resolution No. 473/95 of the former National Animal Health Service is the appropriate document for such purposes, it is necessary to adapt it to the new technical-administrative requirements.

That taking into account that the implementation of the substitution that is advocated entails an adaptation of the material and human infrastructure of the different places authorized by this National Service of Agrifood Health and Quality, it is advisable that it takes place in a gradual way according to the progress of such adaptation.

The situation of the state of alarm will determine the return to the offices and it will be the State or the autonomous communities themselves that will set the minimum guidelines for the return to the offices. “This will be done in an orderly manner and avoiding the presence and coincidence of the entire workforce, which are the most effective and consistent prevention measures,” said Arenas.

That, in this understanding, Article 28 provides “(…) The prohibition of entry into the City of hazardous wastes and residues. It promotes mechanisms of agreement with the province of Buenos Aires and other jurisdictions, with the purpose of using or creating plants for the treatment and final disposal of industrial, hazardous, pathological and radioactive waste generated in its territory”;

Whereas, Law No. 2,214 on Hazardous Waste has the purpose of regulating the generation, handling, storage, transportation, treatment and final disposal of hazardous waste in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires;

That, by virtue of the above, and the provisions of Article 7 of Law No. 2,214, it is appropriate to delegate to the Ministry of the Environment the power to modify the Annexes of this decree;

That, in another order of ideas, it is necessary to point out that the referred Ministry, in order to promote the effective participation of all those actors involved in the management of hazardous waste in the implemented regulation process, called for the conformation of the Advisory Commission for the Regulation of Law No. 2.214 of Hazardous Waste within the framework of the Permanent Advisory Council (Law No. 123);
