OSHA 7405: Fall Hazard Awareness in the Construction Industry This course covers the identification, evaluation and control of fall hazards in the construction industry. This course focuses on falls from considerable heights rather than falls at the same level, such as trips and slips. Course topics include the identification, analysis and prevention of accidents through the use of OSHA Fall Protection Standards.

OSHA 7405: Fall Hazard Awareness for the Construction IndustryThis one day course is designed for small construction employers, business owners, or managers who would like to obtain information about fall hazards found in the workplace. The class is also suitable for employees and employee representatives. Topics include identifying fall hazards, analyzing fall hazards, and preventing fall hazards as well as OSHA resources addressing fall hazards.
How to get an OSHA card?
Any student who successfully completes a 10-hour CareerSafe OSHA course will receive an industry-recognized CareerSafe credential, which includes a federal OSHA 10 wallet card from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, OSHA.

What happens if I lose my OSHA?
Any individual who loses or misplaces their duplicate OSHA card would have to retake the course in full. THERE IS NO REFUND. OSHA Outreach Centers can take up to 90 days to send the duplicate OSHA card to our office.

In addition, this program is an increasingly important requirement for supervisory personnel on many construction contracts in New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island and Connecticut.
Course Description: This program includes OSHA policies, procedures and standards, as well as construction safety and health principles. The training will emphasize those areas that are most hazardous, using OSHA standards as a guide. This program is most applicable for the construction supervisor, with a more intensified focus on various occupational safety and health standards. Course participants can expect to encounter and identify OSHA standards in 29 CFR 1926; identify common causes of accidents and fatalities in hazardous construction areas; recommend abatement techniques for such hazards; and recognize various construction processes, materials and equipment.

OSHA instructors must be authorized by OSHA and you can verify authorized trainers by contacting the local OSHA Outreach Training Institute (OTI) organization. The appropriate OTI organization must be on the above cards. Online OSHA Outreach Trainers must also be on the OSHA authorized current list.
