It is important to note that these tests do not replace the tests performed in the installation and operation qualification stages, as these will be based on a risk assessment, and SAT and FAT will function only as a support to meet the prerequisites for these stages. This risk assessment is based on user requirement specifications and process needs. This means that the tests performed in SAT and FAT are not the same as those performed in the qualification stages, but when SAT and FAT Tests are properly documented, they can be used as a cross reference with Installation and Operation Tests.
