Delegating responsibilities implies “letting our team or the professional who is part of it do it”. And that is never easy. We have many steps to take beforehand, together with our team, before letting it function in a delegated way.

In this way, we could say that delegating consists of assigning to an employee of our company the power to carry out a series of tasks or projects autonomously, without having to consult us or obtain our approval.

Once they have been assigned these responsibilities (defenders to prevent the opposing team from scoring, midfielders to lead the team and strikers to score goals to win), they decide autonomously how to execute them to achieve the ultimate goal: to win the match.

We have to be present and involved in the processes that we are going to delegate in the future, because if we do not know them in detail and we do not know how the team usually responds to them, it will be impossible for us to delegate them.
